Workshop on the Practical Implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity in the Baltic Countries

The workshop on the Practical Implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity in tine Baltic Countries, held in Tallinn from 16 - P October 1994. was an important step in facilitating the follow-up of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) at the sub-regional level. As an input to emerging national biodiversity programmes, the workshop elaborated a set of recommendations for national and sub-regional strategies for the ratification and implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity.
