Storing and Disposing Excess Mercury in South America: Advancing National Initiatives in Argentina and Uruguay - Final Report of the “Mercury Storage and Disposal Two Countries Project in Latin America”

The projects were aimed at reducing the release of mercury into the environment by reducing mercury supply, and finding environmentally sound storage solutions. Regional processes were initiated in order to support the sequestration of excess mercury, thereby preventing its re-entry into the global marketplace.
