While the technical recommendations made in this report are essentially aimed at securing environmental improvements throughout Ogoniland, ensuring long-term sustainability is a much bigger challenge – one that will require coordinated and collaborative action from all stakeholders. This can only be achieved when there is sufficient dialogue, confidence and trust between all the parties involved.
