Concept Note: Regional Training Workshop on the Article 15 Reporting Requirements under the Stockholm Convention (SC) - GEF Project ID 5558: Development and Implementation of a Sustainable Management Mechanism for POPs in the Caribbean

This document summarizes a concept note for a regional training workshop on Article 15 reporting under the Stockholm Convention, held 28–30 January 2020 in Port of Spain and hosted by BCRC-Caribbean. Participants include OCP/NFP representatives, the BRS Secretariat, UNEP’s Chemicals and Health Branch, and Centre staff. Objectives are to strengthen understanding of reporting obligations and the Electronic Reporting System, link NIP data to reporting, and practice the latest format. Expected outcomes include ERS demonstrations, group work, sharing peer experiences, and options to streamline national reporting, including an integrated electronic toolkit under development.
