Annotated Provisional Agenda: Intergovernmental Review Meeting on the Implementation of the Global Programme of Action for the Protection of the Marine Environment from Land-based Activities - Fifth Session - Organizational Matters [Advance]

The Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is convening the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Review Meeting on the Implementation of the Global Programme of Action for the Protection of the Marine Environment from Land-based Activities to review the progress of the Programme and to consider the way forward, especially in terms of the intergovernmental review mechanism. The fifth session of the Intergovernmental Review Meeting will be held online and will be opened at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, 15 February 2022 by the Executive Director of the UNEP or her representative. A representative of the secretariat will outline progress achieved in meeting the commitments made in the Bali Declaration on the Protection of the Marine Environment from Land-Based Activities, adopted at the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Review Meeting.
