Contributions of the chemicals and waste international agreements and frameworks to the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework - Note by the Secretariat

The annex to the present note contains a report on the contributions of the chemicals and waste international agreements and frameworks to the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework presented as a joint document to the conferences of the Parties of the Basel Convention on the Control of Transboundary Movements of Hazardous Wastes and Their Disposal, the Rotterdam Convention on the Prior Informed Consent Procedure for Certain Hazardous Chemicals and Pesticides in International Trade and the Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants held from 29 April to 9 May 2025. It is reproduced as submitted by the Secretariat of the Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm conventions.
