Lao PDR: Building resilience of urban populations with ecosystem-based solutions

The Environmental and Social Action Plan of the project Building Resilience of Urban Populations with Ecosystem-Based Solutions in Lao People’s Democratic Republic establishes the requirement for a project-specific grievance redress mechanism to receive and address feedback, concerns, and complaints from individuals or groups directly or indirectly affected by project activities. The objective of the project-specific grievance redress mechanism is to provide an accessible, timely, fair, culturally appropriate, and effective process for resolving grievances and disputes. The mechanism ensures transparent and legitimate handling of complaints, provides clear procedures for each stage of the process, enables simple and inclusive access for all stakeholders, and supports continuous learning and improvement through systematic grievance management.
