Integrated Management of Marine and Coastal Resources in the Northern Mozambique Channel

This project document outlines an initiative to manage marine and coastal resources in the Northern Mozambique Channel, a biodiverse region facing pressures from development, population growth and climate change. It defines objectives centred on marine spatial planning, improved oil and gas practices, and community-based resource management. The approach combines regional cooperation, capacity building, policy alignment and knowledge generation to support sustainable ecosystems and livelihoods.
