Bamako Declaration on the Environment for Sustainable Development

This document records African ministers of environment meeting in Bamako from 23 to 25 June 2010 at the thirteenth African Ministerial Conference on the Environment and issues a declaration of resolve for sustainable development. It aligns Africa’s agenda with processes on climate change, biodiversity, desertification, chemicals and wastes, and disaster risk reduction, and notes preparations for the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development.
