Status of Ratification of the Protocol concerning Pollution from Land-based Sources and Activities (LBS Protocol)

This document presents the status of ratification of the Protocol concerning Pollution from Land-based Sources and Activities (LBS Protocol) in the Wider Caribbean, prepared for the Third Meeting of the Scientific, Technical and Advisory Committee in Miami, Florida, 31 October to 2 November 2016. It compiles a country-by-country table of signature, ratification, and entry-into-force dates, noting, among others, ratifications by France (4 May 2007; in force 13 August 2010), the United States (13 February 2009; in force 13 August 2010), Grenada (5 March 2012; in force 4 April 2012), Jamaica (5 November 2015; in force 4 December 2015), and the Dominican Republic (6 September 2012; in force 5 October 2012), alongside signatories not yet ratified such as Colombia, Costa Rica, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
