dc.descriptionAt its fifth session, held in Bonn, Germany, in September 2023, the International Conference on Chemicals Management adopted the Global Framework on Chemicals – for a Planet Free of Harm from Chemicals and Waste. Arrangements related to capacity-building are outlined in section VIII of the Framework. Section VIII provides that the International Conference of the Global Framework on Chemicals will develop a strategy for capacity-building and supporting technology transfer on mutually agreed terms, recognizing that the industries are profitable and production is growing worldwide. The strategy will include capacity-building tools and other initiatives.en
