dc.descriptionThe MESAG and IMAG, advisory groups of the seventh Global Environment Outlook (GEO-7) met for the Second Joint IMAG and MESAG In-Person Meeting in Nairobi on the 5th of September to discuss the following agenda items: 1. Review and advise upon projected GEO funding and staffing. 2. Review and provide advice on the revised approach for the intergovernmental and expert peer review process of the Second Order Draft. 3. Discuss and agree on the approach for providing a validation opinion from the IMAG and MESAG of the GEO-7. 4. Review and provide advice on the steps for the acceptance of the main GEO-7 report and the review and approval of the GEO-7 Summary for Policy Makers. 5. Review and agree on areas of joint advice to the UNEP Executive Director.en
