dc.descriptionThis report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP-GEF project implemented between 2011 and 2014. The Project Objective was to establish and operationalise Mongolia's National Biosafety Framework, and to assist Mongolia to comply with its obligations as a Party to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety so as to be able to undertake safe use of modern biotechnology for sustainable development. The objectives of this evaluation are: to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements; and to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF and their executing partners.
