It designates officers for overall COP coordination, legal and strategic oversight, and management of organizational matters, contact groups, and the ministerial dinner. Four contact groups, chaired by Niger, Cameroon, Egypt, and Zimbabwe, cover programme of work and lessons learned, synergies with other agreements, technical assistance and implementation issues, and administrative, financial, and budgetary matters.
