dc.descriptionThis report summarises Reducing Demand of Mercury Containing Products in Bangladesh implemented under the United Nations Environment Programme Mercury in Products Partnership to reduce demand for mercury-added products and support implementation of the Minamata Convention on Mercury. The project assessed mercury-containing products, trade and waste management practices, conducted surveys and stakeholder consultations, and promoted mercury-free alternatives. Outputs included research reports, awareness activities, guidance on mercury waste management, and recommendations for regulatory measures and mercury phase-out.
