dc.descriptionThe workshop is organized in various modules categorized under (i) handling of dangerous goods and (ii) emergency preparedness and response. The objectives of the workshop are: 1. To present and disseminate the results of the project “Promoting Chemical Safety Management in the African Region: activities in Tema Port”. 2. To train countries of the region, namely Burkina Faso, Ghana, Mali, and Niger on handling of dangerous goods and emergency preparedness/response. 3. To discuss country and sub-¬‐regional needs and initial identification of way forward for improved emergency preparedness and chemicals management in Tema Port and along relevant transport routes to other countries of the region.
