Thailand National Situation Assessment 2024 - under the project titled "Accelerating implementation of dental amalgam provisions and strengthen country capacities in the environmental sound management of associated wastes under the Minamata Convention"

The project aims to develop dental restorative guidelines of alternative materials and reduce the use of dental amalgam. It also aims to develop measurable, equitable, sustainable, and environmentally friendly models for managing mercury and hazardous mercury waste from dental procedures. One of the key activities of this project is the preparation of a situation report in Thailand to present to the World Health Organization.
