| dc.description | This publication provides a step-by step guide for analysing and packaging time-series satellite imagery for communicating visual environmental changes on the ground to a wide variety of audiences. The manual is based on lessons learned by UNEP in developing the Atlas of Our Changing Environment publication series. The success of the Atlases is due to the creative use of environmental stories, satellite images, aerial photos, maps and pictures to illustrate environmental change in a clear and comprehensible way. This manual will be especially useful to practitioners in learning how to effectively package satellite images from different time periods to accurately reflect significant changes on the ground. It would also be useful for any UNEP-supported publication produced for inclusion in the series of Atlases to use these design standards and style guidelines. | en |
