dc.description	The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is in the process of developing its next Medium-Term Strategy for the period 2022-2025. The development of the Strategy comes at a critical time for global environmental action. As we face enormous environmental challenges and collectively battle a global pandemic that is a symptom of the ailing health of our planet, it is clear that we need to make a transition towards building back a healthier, greener and more resilient world. The planetary challenges of climate change, nature loss and pollution – the centerfold of such vision – will require broad systemic shifts, particularly in our global consumption and production patterns, coupled with sound policy changes that will create the necessary structure and enabling conditions to support it.	en
