This document presents Colombia’s written submission to UNEP’s consultation on priorities for further work and potential international action on 19 chemicals and waste issues of concern. Using a structured questionnaire with screening and technical questions, Colombia reports agreeing that further international action is necessary on cadmium, glyphosate, highly hazardous pesticides, lead in paint and PFASs, highlighting soft-law, legally binding and voluntary measures, information tools and economic instruments. The submission identifies capacity, financing, coordination and cultural barriers, stresses differentiated obligations and international cooperation, points to sectoral and agenda linkages, and flags several issues—especially HHPs and PFASs—as both urgent and actionable for developing countries.en
