dc.description	This document describes the Regional Strategy and Action Plan for the Valuation, Protection and or Restoration of Key Marine Habitats in the Wider Caribbean 2021–2030 and outlines its relevance to private sector engagement in safeguarding marine and coastal ecosystems. It explains that the strategy was developed in response to the deteriorating condition of regional habitats and the resulting economic and social impacts across the Caribbean. The document highlights the economic importance of the Caribbean Sea, valued at approximately United States four hundred and seven billion dollars annually, with over fifty four billion linked directly to marine and coastal habitats. It outlines collaborative actions involving businesses, including adopting environmentally responsible practices, supporting pilot initiatives and data collection, and contributing to local implementation through partnerships and corporate social responsibility activities.	en
