| dc.description | This report presents a comprehensive integrated environmental assessment designed to embed sustainability into national decision-making processes. Conducted within a country experiencing rapid development alongside long-standing socio-economic challenges, the document addresses a wide range of critical ecological themes, including population displacement, land degradation, climate change, and wildlife management. The analysis relies on data collected through extensive countrywide field studies, laboratory analyses, and interagency consultations to evaluate existing ecological pressures and emerging governance structures. Key findings demonstrate that while institutional frameworks have significantly strengthened, substantial challenges persist due to high population density, intense land scarcity, and acute technical capacity gaps. Ultimately, the assessment highlights that sustaining long-term economic growth remains fundamentally dependent on the shared management of natural resources and enhanced regional environmental cooperation.
