| dc.description | This submission document provides stakeholder input on operating principles for a proposed science policy panel on chemicals, waste, and pollution. It responds to a request issued during the resumed first session of the open ended working group, supported by a webinar and background review of existing science policy panels. The document identifies how elements such as integrity, transparency, gender balance, coordination, and cost effectiveness should be reflected in operating principles, procedural rules, or guidance. Additional proposals include promoting innovation, consensus based approaches, and accessible outputs. The submission also recommends stakeholder participation, inclusion of gender disaggregated data, integration of local and indigenous knowledge, and strong safeguards against conflicts of interest. | |
