The meeting was facilitated by the UNEP Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ROAP) and the CONGO2 Working Group on Asia. This document presents an Asia Pacific civil society statement to the sixth Global Civil Society Forum and the twenty-third Global Council meeting. It summarizes regional context, shared concerns, consensus on worsening environmental challenges, and collective recommendations to strengthen environmental governance, civil society engagement, and sustainable development priorities across the region.en
