dc.descriptionThe Mercury Waste Management Area (WMA) of the UNEP Global Mercury Partnership (UNEP-GMP) held its second annual meeting in a hybrid format (in-person and online) on 20 September 2022. The meeting was organized by the Ministry of the Environment Japan, a co-lead of the WMA, with the support of the WMA Secretariat, EX Research Institute Ltd. The meeting brought together about 25 participants including representatives from governments, inter-governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and the academic community.
