dc.description	The present document provides a report on progress in the implementation of the water policy and strategy of the United Nations Environment Programme for the period 2007–2012 adopted by the Governing Council by its decision 24/16 A of 9 February 2007. It provides information on activities undertaken pursuant to the policy and strategy since the twenty-fifth session of the Governing Council, and lessons learned from its implementation. Given that the water policy and strategy conclude in 2012, it also suggests actions for a way forward.	en
