dc.descriptionIn response to an official request from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS - Statistics Indonesia) to assist in determining the country’s scope of environment statistics and data provided by various national stakeholders, a three-day national workshop on the Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics (FDES 2013) was organized. The workshop was part of the Statistics and Data Project “Resilient and agile National Statistical Systems to meet post-COVID-19 data needs to recover better” under the 14th tranche of the United Nations Development Account. The workshop goal was to enhance the technical capacity of the National Statistical System (NSS) and other key stakeholders in determining the scope of environment statistics in the country. It brought together various stakeholders and provided hands-on training on the Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics (FDES 2013).en
