| dc.description | This document summarises an analysis of sustainable livestock practices in Costa Rica to assess their economic and environmental viability across four farms with different production systems. It compares conventional and improved management scenarios using modelling to evaluate productivity, profitability, greenhouse gas emissions, and resilience. The findings show that practices such as improved pastures, rotational grazing, fodder banks, and forest regeneration can increase income while reducing emissions intensity. Outcomes depend strongly on farm conditions and key production performance indicators. | en |
