dc.descriptionThe Global Major Groups and Stakeholders Forum (GMGSF) prior to Open Ended Meeting of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (OECPR) and the first session of UNEA 5 will be held as an online event that will allow Major Groups to discuss their input into this UNEA session and to exchange on other issues of importance. Reflecting the lean agenda of UNEA 5.1, it will only feature a few consultative sessions on the themes that had been agreed upon by Major Groups. These sessions are fully self-organized by Major Groups. During 2021 and in preparation of the second session of UNEA 5 in February 2022, further consultations of MGS will be organized, including Regional Consultative Meetings, an international online consultation for MGS in June 2021 and full-fledged GMGSF in February 2022.en
