dc.descriptionBased upon the decision of the Eighth NOWPAP MERRAC Focal Points Meeting, the Ninth MERRAC Focal Points Meeting was held in MERRAC from 5 to 7 June 2006. In addition, the First NOWPAP Workshop on Marine Litter would be held in Incheon, Republic of Korea from 8 to 9 June, back to back with this Meeting, as one of the major activities for NOWPAP Marine Litter Activity (MALITA), which was organized by MERRAC with supported by the NOWPAP Regional Co-ordinating Unit (RCU), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), and International Maritime Organization(IMO). The workshop was sponsored by the Government of the Republic of Korea and Incheon Metropolitan City.en
