It examines environmental degradation, unhealthy diets, food waste and inequitable practices, while promoting wholesome and lawful food, sustainable agriculture, ethical resource management and responsible consumption. The paper concludes that food systems guided by these principles can support environmental sustainability, human wellbeing and social equity.en
