Ten Year Framework of Programmes for sustainable consumption and production (10YFP) - Zero draft of the ministerial declaration of the sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly

This document conveys the 10-Year Framework of Programmes (10YFP) Board’s response to the May 2023 zero draft of the UNEA-6 ministerial declaration. It states that the draft theme aligns with 10YFP objectives and urges explicit recognition of the Global Strategy for Sustainable Consumption and Production 2023–2030, developed through a broad multi-stakeholder process under 10YFP and welcomed by UNGA resolution 77/162. It proposes inserting language committing UNEA members to implement the Strategy as an effective, inclusive, and sustainable multilateral action to address climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.
