dc.descriptionPursuant to General Assembly Resolution 73/333 of 5 September 2019 and the agreed roadmap by the UN Environment Assembly (UNEA) and of the Committee of Permanent Representatives (CPR) to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the third informal substantive consultation was held from 16 to 18 February 2022. The discussion was primarily focused on agenda item 5 of the meeting, entitled “Consideration of a draft political declaration pursuant to General Assembly resolution73/333 for review by the resumed 5th session of the United Nations Environment Assembly and onward transmittal to the special session to commemorate UNEP@50, to be held in Nairobi on 3 and 4 March 2022, in line with General Assembly resolution 76/208,” a document prepared by the Co-Facilitators with the purpose of supporting negotiations and eventually agreeing on a draft text toward a political declaration for a United Nations high-level this meeting.en
