dc.descriptionAfter the paints were purchased, staff at IPEN partner NGOs in each of the nine countries prepared the paint samples using sampling kits assembled and shipped to the partner NGO by the U.S.-based IPEN partner NGO, Occupational Knowledge International according to standard instructions provided to them by Professor Scott Clark. The sample kits included individually pre-numbered strips of unused, clean pine wood; clean paint stirrers; single use, paint brushes; Ziploc bags; instructions; sample inventory documentation; and materials for shipping the prepared samples to the United States. A sufficient number of wood strips, stirrers, paint brushes and bags were provided to accommodate the total number of paint samples that were to be collected.
