dc.descriptionThe objectives of the project are to; Support the development of soot-free bus standards in Accra; Build the capacity of public transport operators and regulators in Ghana and the sub-region; Develop communication strategy (awareness creation materials) to educate the public on soot-free bus system in Ghana; and Initiate the dissemination of the draft policy options of soot-free bus standard in Ghana. In fulfillment of the above project objectives, the Environmental Protection Agency and its stakeholders, hosted nine (9) African Cities and several regional organisations to a two-day workshop aimed at promoting soot free bus standards and sustainable public transport in Africa including Accra, Ghana.en
