Climate Change 1995 : The Science of Climate Change - Contribution of WGI to the Second Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change

The IPCC Scientific Assessment Working Group was established in 1988 to assess available information on the science of climate change, in particular that arising from human activities. This report assesses scientific understanding of human influences on past, present and future climate. It examines climate processes, greenhouse gases and pollutants, historical climate variability, climate modelling, detection of human influence, and projections of future climate and sea-level change. It also identifies research and observational priorities for improving scientific understanding.
