In particular it is intended to assess the relative environmental impact of mercury-containing lamps, including the increased use of compact fluorescent lamps (CFL), compared to the impact of mercury from other natural and anthropogenic sources. The report has been prepared by Pattle Delamore Partners Limited on behalf of the Ministry for the Environment.
