dc.descriptionThe United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Regional Office for North America (RONA) held its annual Civil Society Consultation at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) on November 1-2 2007, in Washington DC. Attended by some 50 participants representing 43 organizations, the consultation was held in preparation for the ninth UNEP Global Civil Society Forum (GCSF) and the 25th UNEP Governing Council and Global Ministerial Environment Forum (GMEF) meetings to be held in February 2008 in Monaco. The consultation was one of six regional meetings held worldwide.en
