This is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP GEF project implemented between 2006 and 2010.The goal of the project was to reduce vulnerability of communities to the impacts of climate change, thereby improving their well-being and protecting their livelihoods. The objective of the project was to promote the mainstreaming or integration of vulnerability and adaptation to climate change into sustainable development plans and planning processes through the three pilot projects. The evaluation was undertaken to assess project performance and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability.
