This report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP project implemented between 2007 and 2014.The overall goal of the project was to develop an adequate cooperation platform among all initiatives that were being developed or that could be developed within the specific limits of the CBC, thereby boosting the long-term integration of conservation actions among the insular states, contributing in that way to global biodiversity preservation. The evaluation had two primary purposes: (a) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (b) to promote learning, feedback and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned.
