dc.descriptionThis report presents the first findings of the Global Outlook on SCP Policies, commissioned from UNEP by the European Commission, which provides a nonexhaustive review of government policies and business and civil society initiatives to move towards sustainable consumption and production (SCP). Broad in scope and worldwide in coverage, it includes examples ranging from regional strategies and frameworks to specific policies in a single country. SCP touches upon all aspects of economic activity, and some of the policies that add most value are not necessarily branded with the language of ‘SCP’ but rather under resource efficiency or sectoral initiatives. These efforts have also been captured by the Global Outlook on SCP Policies.en
