dc.descriptionThe first edition of the Resource Guide includes training and technical assistance activities conducted by the present IPCS member organizations, ILO, WHO and UNEP and the relevant activities conducted by UNITAR in association with UNEP. The information presented in the Resource Guide, in most cases, covers activities of the past 3-4 years. A number of organizations, departments, branches, etc. have been in a process of reorganization during the development of the Resource Guide in early 1994. Therefore, new organizational changes may not be fully reflected in this first edition, however, they will be included in future editions. it is also planned to include activities of other international organizations such as FAO, UNIDO, IMO, the World Bank, OECD, the Regional Commissions and relevant activities of bi-lateral assistance agencies if additional resources can be mobilized. Each organization featured in the Resource Guide is covered by a separate chapter. Each Chapter is divided into four Sections:en
