Recognition of the Solidarité pour la Protection des Droits de l’Enfant (SOPRODE)

WHO and UNEP confirm inclusion of the Solidarité pour la Protection des Droits de l’Enfant (SOPRODE) as a partner in the Global Alliance to Eliminate Lead Paint. Solidarité pour la Protection des Droits de l’Enfant (SOPRODE) commits to initiate activities to raise awareness of the health impacts of exposure to lead in paint; share field-based information; support community mobilisation and public information activities aimed at preventing exposure to lead-containing paints; contribute to advocacy efforts promoting the prevention and progressive elimination of lead-containing paints in the Democratic Republic of the Congo; participate, where relevant, in Lead Paint Alliance activities and lead poisoning prevention initiatives, including the International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week. Use of UNEP/WHO names and logos requires written approval.
