dc.descriptionThis report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP/GEF Medium-Sized Project implemented between 2015 and 2018. The project’s overall development goal was to demonstrate and promote the adoption of Sustainable Land Management practices involving the use of innovative organic amendments, based on biochar, that improve the capture and efficient use of nutrients, and enhance productivity, improve climate resilience, support rural livelihoods, and contribute to watershed management. The evaluation sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability.en
