dc.descriptionThe First Intergovernmental Meeting (Seoul, 14 September 1994) adopted the Action Plan for the Protection, Management and Development of the Marine and Coastal Environment of the Northwest Pacific (NOWPAP). The meeting decided to undertake five programme activities for the 1994/1996 biennium, and to consider later on institutional and financial arrangements for the implementation of NOWPAP.
