It is very important to advance possible responses that anticipate environmental damage in complex, changing contexts with uncertainty and emerging challenges. The key messages are agile and adaptive governance, integrating data and knowledge, and a new social contract with broader and more diverse stakeholders to increase societal resilience and guide effective international action and decisions for a relatively safe planet today and future.en
