dc.descriptionThis is a Report document based on the Capacity-building workshop for National focal points of the MEAs and the Montevideo Programme V to facilitate the implementation of Biodiversity and Chemicals/ Waste Multilateral Environmental Agreements. held on 29-31 August 2023 in Bugesere, Rwanda. The objective of the workshop was to provide a practical understanding on how the synergies and interlinkages between biodiversity, and chemicals and waste clusters could be promoted at the national level with a view of enhancing the implementation of the MEAs. The workshop focused on strengthening whole-of-government approach by facilitating improved cooperation and coordination among the focal points and other government experts working across the two thematic clusters of MEAs.en
