Leveraging Sustainable Public Procurement for COVID-19 Recovery in the Caribbean SIDS: Call for Expression of Interest

This document outlines a United Nations Environment Programme initiative to promote Sustainable Public Procurement in six Commonwealth Caribbean Small Island Developing States as part of post-COVID-19 economic recovery. Running until December 2025, the project aims to strengthen procurement systems through legal frameworks, national policies, sectoral guidelines, and capacity building. It supports the integration of sustainability criteria into procurement processes through technical assistance, training, and multi-stakeholder coordination, while encouraging private sector engagement and gender-responsive procurement practices.
