NO The purpose of the report is to formulate guidelines to the methodology of conservation of forest genetic resources, as a basis for long-term action on conservation within a global programme. It consists of an introductory part enunciating the general principles of conservation, a central part comprising seven case studies which accounts for two-thirds of the total length, and a final part of guidelines and recommendations.
