This research is financially supported by, and receives assistance from, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the EU Partnership Instrument (EUPI). It considers issues related to the environment, the economy, and impacts on human and social capital, covering the entire rice value chain, using the TEEBAgriFood evaluation framework, whose indicators align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Moreover, the study’s results may inform policy decisions that promote the Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) economy model, a key national development policy framework.
